Here is the bracelet freshly crocheted. The green thread is cotton and is from my mothers collection. It is vintage. I am not able to find this color crochet thread now.

The Hedge!!!!

Wow, I worked for hours on the front hedge and and filled two gigantic green trashcans with branches and leaves but the hedge still looks the same. I am trying to make it shorter so it doesn't become a group of trees. I love how I smell like a shrub when I am done working. What a great perfume this would be.

I call this one Bejeweled

I will be adding pieces to my flicker site everyday until I get close to the show. Make sure you check them out. Today is Saturday and it is grocery shopping day. I wish I could buy bags and bags of candy. Oh well, I guess I could only do that if I knew I only had one day to live. Here is one of the jewelry pieces I finished today. I just have to share it.

Yikes,

It is Sunday night and I promised myself to learn how to use the 4 double pointed needles to knit in a circle. It could be for socks but I want to leg warmers. I use them so much when it is cold and I love them. I found a lesson on YouTube www.youtube.co/watch?v=9NQMGCo_mXY and at least was able to get started. It looks so easy when she does it. My hands are like uncontrolled stubs. Plus the needles feel all wrong, clanging into each other and seeming like all the stitches are gonna fall off when I am not looking. I can see the circle forming, I sure don't know what it is going to look like.  Guess I have to practice. practice. practice.
