Mama is so beautiful!!!

Here is an experiment in photoshop. I scanned in an old photo of my mother, then drew it up in illustrator and transfered it to photoshop to try some of the great filters. Here is the result. Wo!

What to use for the bracelets

This is my daughter Erin holding a card with yarn, string and trim that was put together for use by scrapbookers. You can find any number of fiber combinations like this at craft stores. They make great bracelets. All the fiber matching has already been done for you and you can get a sense of how the bracelet will turn out just by looking at the card. Check out the 2 bracelets I am making from these 2 cards. In the 3rd photo I am adding in some of the black yarns and creating little babbles and things to stitch on the bracelets.

A bug landed on Erins finger

Wow! check out this tiny bug that landed on Erin's finger. I snapped a photo because I thought it was a green ladybug. I can see that it isn't but I don't know what it is. So tiny but I love the pattern that is on its back. Really cool. Pink and green are lovely color combos.

I am in a green mood.

Also here is the green bracelet I am working on.
Here is a photo of the bracelet in progress.

Here is the bracelet freshly crocheted. The green thread is cotton and is from my mothers collection. It is vintage. I am not able to find this color crochet thread now.
Erin did the Illustration.

The Hedge!!!!

Wow, I worked for hours on the front hedge and and filled two gigantic green trashcans with branches and leaves but the hedge still looks the same. I am trying to make it shorter so it doesn't become a group of trees. I love how I smell like a shrub when I am done working. What a great perfume this would be.

I call this one Bejeweled

I will be adding pieces to my flicker site everyday until I get close to the show. Make sure you check them out. Today is Saturday and it is grocery shopping day. I wish I could buy bags and bags of candy. Oh well, I guess I could only do that if I knew I only had one day to live. Here is one of the jewelry pieces I finished today. I just have to share it.
